Oh the sheer joy of the parental right of photography! I remember how intent I was on catching Ava's essence in the roundness of my camera lens. I was so humbled by her, by the movement forward of her little baby body in space and time. Valentina, well, she doesn't stay still long enough (not when there's a sibling and a 3 year old boxer lab to harass!)
There is no such thing as too many pictures of Kaleb! I am sure the pictures represent a fraction of the bewildering joy he bombards everyone in his life with!
Married in December of 2007, we eloped to our backyard on horseback, after meeting 14 months prior and have never looked back!
Kaleb was born on March 10, 2009 at 12:03 a.m. He was 20 inches long and weighed in at 7lbs 10oz. The pregnancy was amazing, the delivery a little less than... emergency c-section. But we're all here and a whole new family!
We live on our 12 acre parcel of land in the RM of Rockwood, Manitoba with our two (male) dogs and two (male) horses. This annoying little theme of our homestead leaves me in the very fortunate position of being surrounded by very wonderful (!male!) examples of varied species.
Patrick and I both are bitten by the entrepreneurial bug and run our own businesses.
